This is me. In simplest form. On a blog. My life story… as it unfolds.

I’ve always found release in being able to jot my thoughts down and explain myself through my writing. I wouldn’t exactly call myself a pro-writer. I just enjoy writing. Simple as that. Writing on anything and everything that has to do with my thoughts, experiences and opinions. So this blog will essentially be All Things Willy-Style.

It took me some time to come around to the idea of having my very own blog. I can still remember that moment Sally told me about her love for blogs and how she was in my hometown for a Women, Action and the Media Conference back in March 2009. A writers/new bloggers conference, essentially. She planted the seed. My moment to enter the “world of web” had arrived. I had been writing since the age of 8. I’ve never been a fan of sharing my work (and by work- I mean my humble, humble opinions). So…the thought of my “work” being public. Well. HeaRtAttaCk! But I built a bridge and realized (after much convincing from a number of friends) that I should indeed have my own blog. I think my life is pretty exciting. I live it a bit different than the rest. So I am here to share it with you, seven years later. Diary-style. I am a bit fashionably late you can say. Not really. But…EH.

The name Kidult came to me while traveling in Europe. It was love at first sound 🙂 At the end of the day, I feel like I am a grown woman who lets her inner child rule her life. For the things that matter of course, I still act ‘responsibly’ and plan ahead… and pay my bills even though the kid in me would rather spend it on Nutella Crepes (I can eat a ton of ’em) the -ult in me pops its ugly head in and reminds me… ‘grow up’. It usually wins when it comes those life decisions. I play hard, work hard and Kidult felt perfect for me and my lifestyle. So… here it is.
