Ants. They’re in my pants.

Ants. Ants. Ants. Ants in my pants. Ants in my pants. Ants. Ants. Ants. Ants in my pants.

Our little song. Tap your foot as you read it.

Helps, right? Maybe.

Well, my partner and I, we sing it when we’re ready for a new ‘home’. We’ve been singing it for about 2 months now. We currently find ourselves in the Bay of Plenty, which is in the North Island of New Zealand. We have been living and working here for the past 6 months. Beautiful country and breathe-taking views. People are friendly and its history of 700+ years is very interesting.

We have been saving. Piggy banks. Bank accounts. Hidden stashes. International accounts. You name it. We’re not rich, by any means. But we, however, know how to make our buck stretch! Our past 6 months will get us through the South Island for the next 2 months, South East Asia for the following 3, up to Russia, then Ireland and ‘finally’ US of A.

‘Finally’… really?

I know. I’m not entirely sure why I need the “. But I do. Read the title again.

My partner and I have traveled to a number of countries. We’ve been blessed to see many on our own, together and with family. Given our nationalities, we’re kind of forced to travel in order to stay together. So, that plays a huge part. I am not sure where we’ll be in three years time but for now, in two weeks, we will be in the South Island of New Zealand. In our mini-van turned camper-van, Luci.

Ants. Ants. Ants.
